Memorial Day

After a nap with Dad...

...we went to Aunt Rosemary's house for a cookout.

Ryan was there, and he brought his pool and a bathing suit for Adam with him. Adam was able to provide the toys for them. The boys had a lot of fun playing together in the pool.

Pool Time with Chloe

 It was a pretty warm afternoon, so we decided to let Adam cool off in the pool in the backyard.

Even Chloe joined in on the fun. Last year, we had to convince Chloe to go in with her ball. This year, she jumped right in with Adam.

Swimming and Beating Up Dad

This morning, we went to another swimming lesson. Only a few more to go. This week, Adam's choice of toy was Santa on a sled.

Afterwards, Mom left Adam with Dad. Well, Adam decided that it was time to get back at Dad and beat him up. He looks pretty tough, doesn't he? Don't mess with Adam!

First Pirates Game

Today, we took Adam to his first Pittsburgh Pirates game. He was all decked out in his Pirates gear and ready to cheer on the Bucs...

...after a quick nap during the first inning. 

Uncle Mark and Aunt Shana were at the game, too, along with some of their friends.

It was a pretty warm day, but we made it until the 7th inning.

We got Adam a Pirate Parrot before we left. The Parrot took a nap with Adam on the way home. What a long day!

The Pittsburgh Zoo

Today, we went to the Pittsburgh Zoo. We met up with Sarah, Jodey, and Madilyn. One of the first animals that we saw were the elephants. For a small fee (that benefited the elephants), we were able to get a close-up group shot.

Adam wanted to see how tall he was compared to a baby elephant. Not too bad! 

Mom and Dad liked the elephants, too! 

Then, we went to see the monkeys. Adam and Madilyn liked standing right up at the glass.

We also made a stop in the aquarium. It was perfect timing. We missed the rain!

But the day really wore Adam out. He took a nap as we walked towards the exit.

He did wake up so that we could take a quick group shot in front of the sign. We had a great time!

Another Tooth

Mom was trying to get a picture of Adam's second tooth, but he wasn't really happy about it. This was the best that we could get.

1st Mother's Day

Today was Adam's first Mother's Day. Adam helped Dad and Chloe pick out the perfect gifts for Mom.

Later in the afternoon, we went over to Aunt Kim's house. Adam was able to see all of the other important ladies in his life. We made sure that he had his picture taken with Grandma D, Grandma Wilson, and Great Grandma. 

He had to get in one more picture with Chloe. What a good group shot! Dad is such a good photographer! 

Swimming Lessons

It was back into the pool with Dad this morning. Once again, both Dad and Adam had a great time!

9-Month Doctor's Appointment

Today, Adam went to his 9-month doctor's appointment. He was 28 inches long and about 17.5 pounds. He didn't have to get any shots this time, but they pricked his finger and then his foot to check his iron level. The bandaid on his finger was the most exciting part.

Strawberry Pie

Today, Mom and Adam went to lunch with Aunt Rosemary, Heather, and Ryan. Mom had strawberry pie for dessert. Adam had to try some, too, as can be seen from the remains on his chin.

Caged Animal

Mom had to work a crazy shift at work, so Aunt Shana and her mom, Kassy, watched Adam until Dad got home from work. This is the gate at the top of our steps. Adam looked like a caged animal. Then, Aunt Shana got into the picture as the creeper in the background.
