Chinese Food

Tonight, we went to a Chinese restaurant. Dad thought that he was going to have left over Mango Chicken for lunch tomorrow. Boy, we he wrong. Once Adam had a taste, he ate most of the portion that Dad was going to save!

To Home Depot with Uncle Mark and Aunt Shana

Uncle Mark and Aunt Shana watched Adam today. He made a trip to Home Depot to help them get a few items for their house. It looks like Adam is ready to help them paint.

Puppy Dog Face

Adam is starting to make what we call the "Puppy Dog Face". He makes this face when he sees Chloe or we talk about her. He will also make it if Dad encourages him by making the face himself.

Walk with Ryan

After Mom got home from work, we took a walk around the neighborhood with Heather and Ryan. The boys both rode in Adam's red wagon. They look so cute with their matching hats!

Happy Father's Day

It is Dad's First Father's Day. After we went to church and gave Dad his gifts, we went to Aunt Kim and Uncle Joe's house. Adam really liked playing with Jacob and Brianna's toys. Dad got in on the action as well.

Then, Grandpap Wilson was a bad influence on Adam. He let him take a sip of his Diet Pepsi and also let him lick the shot glass from his shot of whiskey. Adam was really liking that!

Then, we stopped by Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Lonnie's house. Adam made his rounds taking pictures starting with Grandpap D.
He also had his picture taken with Uncle Mark, Uncle Lonnie, and Ryan. That is one proud uncle and two proud grandpaps!

Dad sported Adam's hat for one last picture. It looks like the two of them enjoyed their first Father's Day together!

Last Swimming Lesson

Today was Adam's last swimming lesson for this session. We are going to take the summer off and spend some time with friends in their pools. Adam can keep practicing and be ready for the fall. We had to make sure that we took one more action shot for the session.

First Piano Lesson

Maybe he will have a longer attention span than Mom. Grandma can also hope so.

Swimming Lessons with Dan and Emily

Today, Dan and Emily went to swimming with Adam. He is really getting good! Mom was able to get a great picture of Adam and Dad. Only one more week of swimming lessons to go for this session.

Heading Home

It was time for us to leave Chicago. Adam enjoyed meeting all of his new friends. Hopefully, some of them will be able to come to Pittsburgh for a visit this fall!

When we got home, Dad got down Mom's rocking horse from the attic. Adam is still a little small, but he liked the rocking horse. Uncle Rusty made this for Mom when she was little. Hopefully, Adam will have as much fun with it as Mom did growing up.

Dad also brought down Adam's wagon and put it together. Dad took Adam for a test drive around the living room. Adam loved it, but Chloe was not a fan. Adam thought that Chloe was pretty funny. This will be great for our evening walks.

Chicago - Day 4

Today, we went to the Farmer's for a cookout. When we got there, they had the pool filled up and ready for the kids. Danny was showing Adam the pool. Adam wasn't waiting for anyone else...
...he crawled right in! He thought it was great!

Here are a few other shots of the kids playing in the pool.

Adam took a break to change out of his clothes and into his bathing suit. While he was out of the water, he played with Emma. She has the same exersaucer that Adam had. His is now in the attic, so he liked getting to play for a while with hers.

Then, it was back to the pool! At least this time, he had his bathing suit on.

All of that swimming really took it out of Adam. He had to take a break for a nap. Once again, he can sleep anywhere!

Then, Jason emptied the pool and put in the balls. The kids thought that this was great. We were able to get a picture of Adam with everyone - Danny, Emma, and Mathias.

Now, a group shot was another story. At least Emma and Adam looked up for this one.

Chicago - Day 3

Today, we went to the Shedd Aquarium. Adam fell asleep right away...Mathias did not. Kevin had to ride in the middle between the two car seats, so he was able to take these pictures of the boys.

Adam loved the aquarium. He loves to look at all of the fish. Dad's favorite are the turtles. We bought Adam a stuffed turtle before we left the aquarium.

In the one section, there was a play canoe. Mom made Dad and James get in the canoe with the boys for a quick picture. Adam and Mathias both cooperated for these pictures!

Afterwardes, we stopped outside to take a quick picture in front of the aquarium and then with the Chicago skyline in the background.

Later that night, Brian, Laura, and Cara came over for pizza. Cara was showing Adam how to play with the toy camera.

Chicago - Day 2

This morning, we went to a great breakfast place. We couldn't take our stroller inside, so we used the Dad Sack. On the way home, Adam decided to take a little nap. Our child can sleep anywhere...just like his Mom!

Later that afternoon, we took the train to Brian and Laura's place. Adam slept through his first train ride.

We had lunch, and Adam was able to meet more new friends. We snapped this picture with Danny and Emma.
After lunch, it was a quick nap in the strollers...
...and then off to the sprinkler park. Cara tried to show Adam how much fun the sprinkler park can be...

...but Adam wasn't impressed at first. He did warm up to it a little by the end of the afternoon.
Adam did like the little train set at the park.

That night, a group of us were off to the German Fest.
All of the adults enjoyed a few beverages while we were there. Adam just watched...
...but he loved German Fest! He told us that he wants to go back again next year!
