The Dallas Cowboys Stadium Tour

Today, we took a tour of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Adam and Carson sported their Steelers jerseys since the Steelers would be playing in the Super Bowl there in just a few days.

Our first stop was the luxury box. What a view! They already had the Steelers logo painted in the end zone.

Then, it was down to the tunnel where the players would enter the field and out into one of the field level boxes.

  

After a stop in the Cowboys locker room, they took us out onto the field. Adam took pictures with Mom and Dad.

 Our favorite is this one of Adam touching the turf.

The Dallas World Aquarium

While we were in Dallas, we spent our Sunday afternoon at the aquarium.

Adam watched the sharks with Dad and checked out the turtles with Mom. 

We looked at the crocodile from the upper level.

But, Adam's favorite part was the brightly colored fish. He couldn't take his eyes off of the fish!



First Airplane Ride

Today, Adam was off on his first airplane ride with Mom and Dad. We were on our way to Dallas to visit Brett, Becky and Carson.

Scout even came along for the ride to keep Adam company. Both Adam and Scout did very well even with having to take off and land three times on our way to Dallas.

 Of course, Adam had to take a few naps along the way. He seemed pretty comfortable on Mom's lap.

 But, he did have plenty of time to look out the window.

When we would get on and off the plane, Adam would go in the Dad sack. It just made everything a lot easier.

When we were waiting for our bags, Mom took a picture of Adam and Dad in front of the Super Bowl sign. They were hanging all over the airport. 



Ski Trip 2011

Every winter, we take a ski trip to Deep Creek, MD. Adam can't ski yet, but he went along for the ride.

When we were packing the night before, Adam got into the spirit by wearing Dad's ski goggles. Before we know it, he will be wearing his own pair and heading down the slopes!

While we were waiting for others to arrive, Adam amused himself by playing on the floor with his blanket. He is rolling over a lot now, and it didn't take long before he was all tangled up.

Once everyone arrived, we went to dinner at a local brewery. We passed Adam around for a few pictures with Mom, Dad, Aunt Shana and Uncle Mark.

Uncle Mark's friend, Matt, even took Adam for a while. Adam really sized up Matt.

   

Mom wasn't going to pass up the chance to put Adam in his Bear Suit and take him out in the snow. At first, it was okay, but then, Adam fell over. He was not happy when the cold snow flew up in his face.

 So, we had to warm up by the fire.

Before we left, we took a family picture in front of the fire place. Next year, Adam should enjoy playing in the snow a little more.

Playing with Chloe

The beginning of January brought with it a lot of time inside with Chloe. Mom captured a few of these moments with Adam and his puppy dog.

1/9/11: Hanging out with the puppy dog before heading to dinner for Uncle Mark's Birthday dinner. Adam had to wear his Penguins sweatsuit for Uncle Mark.

1/12/11: Adam and Chloe admired the snow from inside. It was too cold. Even Chloe didn't venture out too much.

1/14/11: Adam and Chloe spent the day with Dad. Chloe wanted to make sure that Adam knew how to play with his truck. We have to make sure that Chloe doesn't take Adam's toys. We have also found out that Adam likes raw hides. We have to try to keep them out of reach.

1/17/11: This was from a day with Aunt Shana. The lazy puppy dog is an easy target for Adam.
