Visitors from West Virginia

Aunt Patty, Sarah and Jennifer came up from Morgantown to meet Adam. Aunt Patty is Grandma D's friend from college, so mom grew up with Sarah and Jennifer. Now, Adam will get to hang out with Madilyn, Gavin and Carter.

Meeting Some of Mom and Dad's Friends

Amy and Megan stopped by the house to meet Adam. They were lucky enough to come right around the time that Adam was ready to eat. Amy gave mom and dad a break.

Then, it was off to Sarah's wedding reception. There, Adam met Crystal, Rich, Brianna, and Alison. Brianna was so excited to meet Adam!

1st Wedding

Today, Adam went to his first wedding ceremony. Mom's friend, Sarah, was getting married. Adam was all dressed up for the occasion. He slept through the entire mass, and didn't wake up until the ride home.

Swinging and Story Time

This morning after breakfast, dad read Adam a story about farm animals. He looks pretty interested in what dad has to say.

Adam also enjoyed some time in his swing today.

Visit from Grandma D

Dad had to go to work for a little while today, so Grandma D came over to spend the day with mom and Adam. Grandma loves the time that she gets to spend with him. The little guy doesn't mind being held. He loves to cuddle!

1st Doctor's Appointment & First Sponge Bath at Home

On Monday morning, we made our first trip to the doctor's office. Adam was only off of his birth weight by 1 oz. He has obviously been eating well to gain back the little bit of weight that he lost since birth.

The doctor's appointment must have really taken it out of the little guy. When we got home, he had some tummy time and took a nap with dad.

Then, it was time for a bath. Mom and dad set up shop on the kitchen table. Since he still has his belly button plug, it was just a sponge bath. This activity was not one of his favorite so far.

After his bath, it was time for another nap. Chloe checked on him to make sure that he was okay.

August 1st was a busy day!

Adam had a busy day today. Today, we had our first tummy time. Adam didn't seem to mind. In fact, it looks like he enjoyed it. It took both mom and dad so that we could keep the curious puppy off of the mat. Adam ended tummy time by napping with dad.

Then, we decided to take Adam for his first walk. After we took this picture, we used his one toy to help prop up his head. Before our next outing, we will use a few receiving blankets to keep his head in place. He slept through the walk, so we guess he wasn't that uncomfortable.

Later that night, we had our family over to celebrate dad's 30th Birthday. This was the first time that Grandma Wilson held Adam. It was also the first time that Great Grandma met Adam.
